Anthony is an assistant professor at the University of Nevada Las Vegas specializing in authentic leadership, authentic leadership development, transformational leadership, and technology-enabled leadership development. He recently transitioned to academia from industry where he worked for Darden Restaurants for over 23 years and held the position of Senior Director of Operations.
As a member of the operations the executive team at Red Lobster, Anthony actively participated in the formulation of strategy and tactics for all 690 Red Lobster restaurants while supervising five Directors of Operations that covered 40 restaurants in 5 states: Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, and Louisiana.
Anthony also lead operations in Canada (Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta) for Red Lobster in 2007 and 2008 where he supervised 4 Directors of operations and 29 restaurants. Anthony received multiple Director of Operations Leadership Excellence Awards and he is currently holds active memberships in the Center for Creative Leadership, Society of Human Resource Management and the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education.
