Dan earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Washburn University in 1978 and now is a trustee and board member for the Washburn University Foundation. Dan is not only a Certified Public Accountant, but is also a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), a Specialist Accreditation he earned through the AICPA.
Dan has 30 years of public accounting experience, including five years with Deloitte & Touche, LLP. He has assisted in the startup, operations, and sale or acquisition of many small businesses. Dan currently serves on the board of directors of two publicly traded companies that he has worked with from inception, Digital Ally (DGLY) and Infinity Energy Resources (IFNY.PK).
Dan also serves on the board of directors for Argentine Federal Savings as well as on the boards of various non-profit groups and foundations including the Community Foundation of Johnson County. Dan’s knowledge of business and his experience with corporations allows him to bring a distinctive expertise to his clients. His diversified client base encompasses work in taxation, financial planning, wealth management services, and consulting on general business and financing activities.
Dan has also served as an instructor for the Becker CPA exam with the Keller Graduate School of Management and has over 17 years of teaching experience preparing candidates for the CPA exam.
